Paintings of Life is the result of changes, challenges and growth. This collection of poems contains four parts, each entitled with a latin term: Natura - Tempus - Mortem (1) - Emovere - Hominem - Mortem (2). If one asks the author why, she simply answers: “Why not?” Claire Perez Ekman has found special brushes that she has bent to her will in order to give the reader a taste of her heart. Seemingly fragile at times, do not be fooled good reader, for this is only the tip of the iceberg. If you are willing, one verse after another, she will take you by the hand and show you the world as she sees it... the wonders that stun her, but also the ugliness that have her rant.
